Namibia faces the Atlantic Ocean and is bordered by Angola and Zambia to the north, Botswana to the east and South Africa to the south. The country has a good infrastructure that makes it easy to travel around or taking into neighboring countries. It gained independence from South Africa in 1990 and its capital Windhoek.

In addition to meeting the world's largest sand dunes can holiday in Namibia punctuated with a trip to one of the many national parks. In the more than 22 000 square kilometers of Etosha National Park, one can see a large variety of wildlife, including elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras and leopards. Between May and September are the most likely to see flamingos around the park's watering hole, and the winter months are all the most pleasant time to be in the park. From December to March is often so hot in Namibia that it can be excruciating to be in the desert region, which accounts for most of the country's land area. Do you get enough of the desert, one can continue the journey to the coast with the alluring name Skeleton Coast. It is famous and infamous for the many shipwrecks that over time have been swept into the country, and who contributes to the site's country of mystery and ancient legends. It is possible to visit several shipwrecks. Moreover, it is easy to be seduced by the Kalahari Bushmen, fur seals and dolphins in Benguelabukta, or of the Fish River Canyon - Namibia's response to the Grand Canyon in the USA.
