Mandurah is the second largest city in Western Australia, located approximately 72 km south of the state capital, Perth. City and suburbs have many kilometers of coastline of which most is sandy. Mandurah also has a number of suburbs built around an artificially created duct city and attracts large numbers of tourists. The city is also known for its protected waters, beaches, boating and fishing.
Two zoos located on the outskirts of the city, as well as a miniature village, a tourist train and a national park. Going on dolphin and whale watching are popular among tourists. Mandurah offers a unique blend of fishing, swimming and beach activities. Mandurah center is around Mandjar Bay, with cafes, restaurants, barbecues and picnic facilities along the seafront. |
