Liverpool is a suburb and a major center in the metropolitan area of Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. Liverpool is located in the Greater Western Sydney 32 kilometers south-west of central Sydney. Liverpool was founded in November 1810, is one of the oldest towns in Australia.

Liverpool is currently the main town in South Western Sydney. There are lots of open spaces in the city center, including botanical parks and sports facilities. St Lukes Anglican Church from 1818, is the oldest Anglican church in Australia.

Buildings listed on the Register of the National Estate or State Heritage Register is Technical College, the former Liverpool Hospital from about 1825-1830, former Courthouse from about 1855, Collingwood from about 1810,
Liverpool Dam at Georges River built in 1836, Liverpool Railway Station, Rosebank from 1882 to 1883, Del Rosa, Liverpool Fire Station, Memorial School of Arts from 1924 and New Commercial Hotel dates from 1896.
